besides those soup recipes from my time with other families ... I learnt a dutch recipe for Meatballs ... and in later years with my own family; we used to enjoy a Swedish meal out, bringing back memories of those tasty meatballs ...
There have been many conversations between the genders; about what is worth making and what is not ... with more mess than is worth the bother in making some recipes ...
I feel it depends what the recipe involves ... as with sitting watching a film with knitting needles in hand ... you would never be bored ... with my family around ... there is always something to while away the time ... which I look forward to one day again ... instead of clearing the past ...
