A Wet Winter ...

The first winter as a widow was very much a white one, with snow and frosts.

This Winter has been very much a puddly one, with winds howling at times. This one is on its way to breaking the weather records, with the continued rains.

It rained in Kent, it rained in Cornwall and it rained up North and travelling by train back home in early January.

I have been soaked through, when not with family to remind me to wear the right gear. My mind can be elsewhere particularly dealing with a particular strand of the past. I can be oblivious ... for a moment away from the here and now ... Conflictions ... one moment very vibrant and aware ... the next insulated from the world around ...
